The yellow flag iris is flowering and it has seeded itself in the adjacent rush pot.
The lilies and water soldiers are doing well.
The white vertical line is the chain taking rain from pergola roof into the pond. It guides the water which enters the pond quietly and with very little splash, unless it's very heavy, of course. The rainwater is far better for topping up the pond than tap water, which contains unwanted chemicals and nutrients that cause weeds and algae to multiply.
