New Patio Furniture

We like to be and eat outside as much as possible. Our old plastic table is still serviceable, but not very practical for more than 3-4 people, so in April 06, we took the plunge and bought a set of teak furniture suitable for an army (well, 8).

We were told the furniture was well packed, but we hadn't expected what arrived.

The chairs were first to be unpacked - 8 of them. The table came in four parts requiring only glued dowels to firmly hold the assembly together. (All of the packaging was recycled.)

The furniture is beautifully figured, smooth, well proportioned and well made. It also matches our bench, which we have left to go silver - its natural condition. The furniture is kept under the canopy which protects it from the worst of the weather.

The table extends from 1.8m to 2.4m x 1.1m wide.

We love the furniture and can't wait to have a big group over for a meal.
