We're pretty sure that these little fellows are mainly toads as there was a pair of adults linked together well after they should have stopped.
We made several rafts and ramps so they could escape (as they clearly were trying to do) and over a few days, they virtually all disappeared. However, they are now hopping all over the place and have to be very careful.
